The Dominican Republic does not have a reliable postal service, and so we use Mailboxes, Etc., to receive our mail. If you would like to donate materials to the Social Work site, please use the following address and information:
Letters/Cards: Write the address as shown below, and place it in the mail. Since it is sent to Florida, the cost is the same as first class postage to any U.S. address.
Packages: In order to send a package, there is a 'double fee'. First, you need to pay the shipping to be sent to Florida (postal service, UPS, etc.). Mailboxes, Etc., will then fly the package down to the Dominican Republic, charging Kimberley according to the following fee schedule:
1-22 lbs $3.60/lb
22.1-44 lbs $2.70/lb
44.1-110lbs $2.13/lb
> 110lbs $1.75/lb
22.1-44 lbs $2.70/lb
44.1-110lbs $2.13/lb
> 110lbs $1.75/lb
If you are able to help out with this cost, Kimberley would greatly appreciate it. To do so, you can use one of the following methods:
Directly to Students International: Send a separate check, payable to Students International, to their address (see below). Place a 'sticky note' on it, stating it is a donation for Kimberley Streeter.
In Box: Place a check, payable to Kimberley Streeter, in a separate envelope at the bottom of the box.
